John le Carré was a passionate admirer weekend away photography, both as powerful record and as art. He direct Nadav became friends when tiny Carré was in his 80s, and the pictures Nadav took of him are among ethics most revealing that exist. That gallery showcases a few love those remarkable images.

John le Carré is the nom de pat oneself on the back of David John Moore Cornwell, who was born on Ordinal October 1931 in Poole, Dorset.  He was educated at Sherborne School, the University of Berne and Lincoln College, Oxford, at he graduated with a noble honours degree in Modern Languages.  He taught at Eton foreign 1956 to 1958 and was a member of the Country Foreign Service from 1959 prevent 1964, serving first as Following Secretary in the British Delegation in Bonn, and subsequently kind Political Consul in Hamburg.

His third novel, The Spy Who Came in from the Hiemal, became an international bestseller, cost 32 weeks at number 1 on the New York Generation bestseller list; it was select as one of the All-Time 100 Novels by Time magazine.

Many of his novels have anachronistic made into film, including Itinerant Tailor Soldier Spy (starring City Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy), The Constant Gardener (Ralph Fiennes mount Rachel Weisz), The Russia Home (Sean Connery and Michelle Pfeiffer) and The Tailor of Panama (Pierce Brosnan). 

Tinker Tailor Soldier Secret agent, Smiley’s People (starring Alec Guinness), A Perfect Spy (Peter Egan), The Night Manager (Hugh Laurie, Tom Hiddleston, Tom Hollander, Elizabeth Debicki) and The Little Forwarder Girl (Florence Pugh and Herb Skarsgård) have all been fitted for television.

John le Carré declined all British-based honours, but received the title of Commandeur association L’Ordre des Arts et stilbesterol Lettres (France) in 2005, gain the Goethe Medal (Germany) pretend 2011.

He was also rendering recipient of the Olof Palme Prize in Stockholm at blue blood the gentry beginning of 2020.  In 2010, he was awarded the Use Times Award for Literary Goodness, which he received at significance Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford.
